01 Payments & refunds

• Appointments must be booked and payment completed before the scheduled tarot reading.
• Refund requests are subject to review and approval by Tanya, the tarot reader.
• Readings are conducted online via Instagram and/or Google Meet.
• Appointments follow Eastern Standard Time (EST), as stated on the reference terms page. Please confirm the applicable time zone when arranging your booking.

02 Privacy policy

Tanya’s Tarot values your privacy and aims to protect personal information shared when arranging a reading.

Information collected

• Your name and email address when you book a reading.
• Payment information, which is processed through third-party payment processors.

How information is used

• To provide tarot reading services.
• To process payments and fulfil orders.
• To send newsletters or updates when you have consented to receive them.

The reference policy states that personal information is not sold, traded, or transferred to third parties without consent. Payment processors may handle payment data under their own terms and privacy practices.

Data security and your rights

Appropriate security measures are used to help protect information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may request access to personal information held about you, ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected, or withdraw consent for marketing communications. Use the Events & Enquiries form to make a request.

Age restriction and updates

The reference policy says services are not intended for people under 18 unless parental consent is provided, and that information is not knowingly collected from minors. The policy may be updated periodically; the latest version should be checked on this website.

03 Rescheduling appointments

Rescheduling may be possible. Please communicate any requested changes as promptly as possible so arrangements can be discussed. A new time is not confirmed until it has been agreed.

04 Group readings

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours after confirmation to hold a group event date.
• The deposit is non-refundable, except when the reader cancels. In that case, the reference terms state that a full refund will be provided.

06 Important notes about readings

• Tarot readings are provided for entertainment, reflection, and personal insight. They do not guarantee future outcomes.
• Readings are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, business, or mental-health advice.
• You remain responsible for your own choices and actions. Please use personal judgement when considering anything discussed in a reading.
• Tarot is not intended to provide guaranteed predictions such as the name of a future spouse or lottery numbers.
• Technical issues may occasionally interrupt video sessions, including connection loss, power outages, service disruptions, or device problems. If this happens, efforts will be made to restore the call and make up for lost time where possible.
